PICNIC IN THE PARK – torrential rain did not dampen the community spirit. Right on cue, with gates open at 1100 hours, we had our first family ready to put up a gazebo and wait it out. Unfortunately, Tia Lewis, New Route had to endure the miserable weather, before a snippet of blue sky appeared.
