GALA PARADE AND DAY – Thank you to David Sibley, Chairman, Godmanchester Camera Club for the excellent photos of the event – from the Parade meet up at Romans’ Edge through to the Recreation Ground. The theme of ‘PIRATES of the Caribbean’ was a definite hit with some fantastic outfits, including our own Johno! Bubbles kept the children entertained in the afternoon and Bumbulum the Fool – enough said. Also taking part in the Arena were Biggleswade Sea Cadets, Coleman Creative Academy and more. The finale to the day was the Duck Race with 1000 yellow ducks heading to the river. Thank you to Kirsty Dempster and her daughters, for paddling to recover them for next year’s race. Huge thanks also to the Ladybird Boat Trust for laying on river trips.
