What a day! With a theme of ‘It’s time to celebrate’ the community certainly did us proud in the sun on Saturday, 11 September. The Gala Parade had classic cars, cycles, people on foot and Felicity Footloose juggling her way to the Recreation Ground.
Charlotte – High Voltage Events – teetered on stilts and then ran a ‘Circus Workshop’ later on the afternoon. Who could forget the mesmerising Bubble Display and magic from Karen and Alfe – one for the kids and grown ups alike and no words can describe Rob and Felicity acts with their daredevil antics.
And of course, to end the day the ‘Annual Duck Race’! Thanks to the Environment Agency and the Sea Scouts ensuring the ducks made their journey into the unknown safely for another year’s outing.
